✨️Alphabet Crowns & Name Fun! ✨

Today our Little Leaders created alphabet crowns starting with the letter Aa. This activity helped the children with letter recognition, letter sounds, and vocabulary as we explored different words and objects that begin with Aa.

We also did a special name activity, giving each child the chance to practice recognizing, writing and spelling their own name.

In early childhood, the key is making learning fun, hands-on, and engaging. That’s how we keep their attention and build strong foundations for reading and writing!

Today’s activity helped our Little Leaders strengthen their fine motor skills while practicing color matching. Using colorful pipe cleaners and cardboard boards with pre-punched holes, the children worked on threading and sorting by color. This hands-on task encouraged focus, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving, all while making learning fun and creative!

All About Shapes!⭐️🟣🟧🔺️

Today our Little Leaders explored the exciting world of shapes!

Since every child learns differently, we incorporated a variety of learning styles; hands-on activities, writing, and painting to make the lesson meaningful for everyone.

Learning shapes is more than just fun, it’s a foundation for cognitive development, math, and literacy. It also strengthens spatial awareness and pattern recognition, which are key building blocks for future learning.

Our leaders didn’t just see shapes today, they experienced them!

✨ Today was full of learning and fun at Little Leaders of Excellence!

🌟 We started with story time, where our little leaders explored letters and sounds through books.
🌟 Next, we worked on fine motor skills using beads and string, strengthening hands while building focus and patience.
🌟 We wrapped up by learning about the letter T for traffic light and talked about Garrett Morgan, the brilliant inventor who created it. 🚦
