I am a Husband, a father or two GSP fur babies, and a running fanatic. My running career spans just over two decades, starting in middle school and continuing through high school, and college, all the way to a professional career where I can proudly call myself an Olympic trials qualifier. The last 7 years of that time has also been spent coaching running enthusiasts as well as collegiate athletes

What an exciting week for the running world and for our RTTW team.
From the mile to the marathon, RTTW athletes showed up and gave their best in pursuit of their own personal goals.
In the last 7 days, we had athletes racing in the Boston Marathon, the Glass City marathon and half marathon, London, Eugene Marathon and Big Sur Marathon. Along with the Nashville Half marathon, the USATF 1 mile Road Racing championships, and the Savage 5k in Toledo. I wont get into the details too much, but here are some photos that highlight their experiences!

Late, but no less important! ran an incredible 16 minute PR at the two weeks ago! Marathon training in Michigan winter is no joke, but this Dad of two never makes an excuse and when the day came, he was ready to get the job done. I couldn’t be more proud to work with somebody so dedicated and passionate about the sport congratulations Chris. I know this is just another step forward in your journey.

Racing with integrity means showing up and doing the things you said you are going to do. and I stress this in running and in life. That doesn’t mean you can guarantee a time or result, but rather that you show up regardless of how you feel or the conditions of the day and you do your best on the day you are given. Yesterdays race conditions were tough no matter who you are, but so many people showed up and made the most of the day they were given. It was so inspiring and that’s what this sport is all about. We love you, . Already looking forward to next year! See you at the !
Huge thank you to everyone who works behind the scenes to make this day possible. We are so grateful that you make such an amazing event possible. Hope to keep seeing this race grow!

Meet Grant!
Husband, dad, and determined runner. I’ve had the honor of coaching Grant for just under a year, and in that time I’ve watched him rise to the occasion at both the Boston and Charlevoix Marathons—earning yet another BQ in less-than-ideal conditions. He’s tough, passionate about his running, and it’s been a privilege to support him on his journey.
Fun fact: Coach Andy and Grant first met as rivals on the treadmills during their time at Orangetheory. During Marathon Month, Grant pulled off the win over Andy on the very last day of the challenge.

What you do with the other 96% of your day matters. Don’t undo your hard work with poor nutrition, sleep, or inconsistent routines.

Meet Otto! A standout Run Through The Wall athlete, current student at Georgetown University, and a true example of someone striving to be their absolute best. Whether he’s crushing it in the classroom, competing fiercely for his club soccer team, or chasing down new PRs from the Mile, the 5k, and all the way up to the half marathon, Otto brings energy, discipline, and heart to everything he does.
It’s been such a joy coaching you, Otto—I can’t wait to see what’s next on your journey!

Meet James McClure!
I’ve had the honor of being on this journey with James for just over a year now, and I’m blown away by the progress he’s made. After running competitively in high school and coming back from a major shoulder injury, James took on the challenge of the marathon with unwavering commitment.
In February, he crushed the Austin Marathon with an impressive time of 3:29:14 — and we’re just getting started. There’s so much more ahead!
It’s been a true privilege, James. Watching your growth has been incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you!
