Acceptance is one of the first steps of change.

Not just leant to “love yourself” acceptance.
Real acceptance.

The kind where you stop negotiating with your present and tell the truth about where you are.

Because you can’t build a new life on top of a fantasy version of your current one.

You have to start with reality.

And reality is what most people avoid.
Not because they don’t want growth.
Because truth feels exposing.

Acceptance isn’t just “seeing.”
It’s exposure.

It’s grief. Responsibility. The fear of being judged.
The gap between who you are right now and who you want to be.

And your brain + nervous system does not love that!

So instead of accepting reality, most people protect their self-image.

They fake it till they make it.
They stay vague.
They over-function.
They keep pushing without looking.

Because feeling behind feels unsafe.

But the cost is a constant state of imposter syndrome.
Masking. Pressure. Performing.

Which is increasing your anxiety, spiking your cortisol, wrecking your hormones, putting you on edge, causing your brain fog, sabotaging you, make you snap…

It. Is. Exhausting.

Acceptance isn’t approval. (More on this on Substack)
Acceptance is honesty.

“This is the baseline. This is what’s true.”

And the sooner you stop fighting the truth, the sooner you can start building something new.

Confidence comes from competence.
And competence is built through truth, not performance.

This is the work we do inside Personal Mastery. Real change, from the real starting point.

Heyyy.

This week I’ve been doing a handful of Personal Design Check-Ins and I’m honestly obsessed with how fast they cut through the noise.

Because when someone’s spiraling, stuck, emotionally flooded, second-guessing their relationship, or trying to pivot their career…

Most of the time the problem isn’t “lack of discipline” or “lack of motivation.”

It’s that they don’t have language for what’s happening, so they keep trying to force a solution that isn’t designed for their system.

These check-ins give you the missing orientation.

You send me what’s happening in real time, and I map it back to your design so you can see:

✨ what pattern you’re in
✨ why it keeps happening
✨ what part of you is reacting vs what part of you is actually true
✨ what decisions will feel at peace in your body (instead of heavy in your head)
✨ and what to do next that actually matches how you’re wired

They’re quick, but they’re not surface-level.

✨ Here’s how it works:

Book using the link in my bio.
You’ll be prompted to send:
• your birth details (date / time / location)
• a short message or voice note with what you’ve been currently navigating!

You’ll receive your recording within 24–48 business hours. At least that’s the goal! Definitely within a week!

I only open a limited number of these each month.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone until the next drop.

✨Want deeper support?

Personal Mastery (1:1) is for when insight isn’t enough anymore. When you already understand the pattern… but it’s still running your life.

This is where we don’t just name what’s happening.
We actually change what keeps repeating.

✨ Inside Personal Mastery:
• nervous system + identity work (so your body can hold the change)
• decision-making + ex*****on support (so you move, not just think)
• relationship patterns + emotional dynamics (so love feels steady, not confusing)
• visibility + voice + momentum (so you can show up without force)
• deconditioning: what’s yours vs what you’ve been carrying

And more obvi. It’s 1:1 coaching starts at $349 monthly, $749 quarterly.

If you’re reading this thinking, “okay… this is literally me,”
you’re probably right. 😅 I’ll be waiting for you in my DMs!

Let me guess your morning routine looks a little something like…

You wake up between 6-7. You check your phone while the coffee’s brewing. Social media, the news, maybe email so you can see what you’re walking into today. Then it’s kids, shower, breakfast, getting everyone ready while you’re also getting yourself ready. Out the door, drop off, work.

And you feel like you’re already behind.
Already stressed. Already annoyed.
Like you’re rushing before you’ve even had a second to orient to your own life.

This is why when I start working with a client who feels stuck or mid-pivot. I start with morning routines. Because on paper, that’s a normal sequence of events for many… but it’s usually not a routine that supports the nervous system.

Most people start the day with stimulation, pressure, comparison, and other people’s urgency before their system is even fully online.

And your brain doesn’t read that as neutral information. It reads it as demand.

So you haven’t consciously decided what matters yet. Your brain and body decides for you. That’s why so many people feel behind before they’ve even brushed their teeth.

This isn’t a discipline problem. It’s a sequencing problem.

If you want a day that feels more focused and spacious, it often starts with a few minutes of orientation before the world gets access to you, before obligation.

Not a 5am miracle morning. Just a routine that helps your system come online before it has to perform.

Movement before input. Light before screens. Intentional dopamine before accidental dopamine. And a moment where your brain can register safety, direction, and agency before it has to respond to anyone else.

You’ve probably seen this phrase floating around Instagram. Then the debates about where it came from, how controversial and all that.. I’m not here for that.

What matters is the message.

After my very last wedding I ever photographed, the very next day, I sold all of my equipment. Every camera. Every lens. Everything.

It was already sold. Payments collected.
They just couldn’t pick it up until I finished that final job.

That was intentional.

I knew my life was supposed to be different.
I knew this pivot wasn’t a side project.
I knew I never wanted to go back to photography.
Not even as a safety net.

So I burned the ships.

And I’ll be honest.
It’s been hard.

Hard to build a business from Japan.
Hard to start again.
Hard to give up an identity and the value that came with it.
Hard to want coaching inquiries and only receive wedding inquiries.
Hard to lose income all at once.

But would I go back?

No.

Every time I share the challenges I get advice to pick up a camera again from others. It’s the first go to.

And that’s exactly why I did what I did. I did it this way because I understand how the brain works. It clings to familiar paths. It uses backup plans to feel safe. When you burn the ships, you stop negotiating with yourself.

You move forward because forward is the only option. I’m not much of a plan b kinda woman. Never really have been.

I’m not going to lie..
I’ve looked back. Not to return..
But, To grieve. To learn. To remember.

But then I’m reminded there is no going back. There’s so much more purpose here and forward. Giving up before the miracle happens, is not in the cards. I committed fully when I burned the ships.

And this year, I’m even more committed than before. I’ve been trying to follow others. I’ve been draining my energy. I haven’t been fully trusting in myself or my purpose. And I’ve stayed small. The clients this year have proved to me that the work is worth it. What they’ve done has been incredible. I need to stop holding back!

This isn’t about resolutions.
It’s about intention. Dedication. Alignment.

So I’m curious. What are you committed to this year?

I felt like I could create a 100 of these based on things I’m letting go of and what I know clients are letting go of!

Which one resonates with you? Comment, share!

As this year winds down, I’m noticing the shift.
The slow shedding of Snake energy..the introspection, the pattern-breaking, the quiet identity shifts.

Snake years ask us to see clearly.
To tell the truth we’ve been avoiding.
To let skins fall even when we don’t know who we’ll be without them.

And ahead of us?
Horse energy on the horizon.
Movement. Momentum. Aliveness.
A body-led “let’s go” instead of a mind-led “figure it out.”

Before we run, though, there’s something powerful about releasing.

Letting go of:
• timelines that weren’t ours
• survival versions that did their job
• pressure disguised as motivation

We can’t sprint into a new era carrying old weight.

This isn’t about forcing a fresh start.
It’s about closing the year honestly…
so what moves forward can actually move freely.

What are you done carrying into the next chapter? 🐍→🐎✨

Today I’m sharing one of the lessons inside Align and Elevate!

If you’re a coach, therapist, or wellness practitioner who’s curious about using Human Design in your work with clients, this lesson is going to open something up for you.

It explains the piece most practitioners never get taught. The part that finally connects the dots between mindset, nervous system work, identity, and the deeper energetic mechanics underneath someone’s patterns.

The way that I teach Human Design is not about memorizing all the details, it’s about learning to understand and actually apply the system. Understand people on a deeper, more accurate level. How you hear them, how you coach them, where their patterns make even more sense to you.

What this lens allows you to see:
Once you learn to see through Human Design as a lens, things stop feeling random. You begin to understand:
✨ Why someone keeps looping, stalling, or sabotaging even when they’re “doing the work.”
✨ The difference between conditioning (what can be dissolved) and design features (what must be expressed differently, not fixed).
✨ Why clients feel shame or frustration when they’re trying to change something that was never meant to disappear.
✨ How easy it is for coaches to accidentally coach the wrong thing when they don’t see this distinction.
✨ Why tools sometimes stop working and how to know exactly what to do next.
✨ How Human Design brings precision, nuance, and compassion to the way you support real people with real nervous systems.

This is the lesson where the work stops being theoretical.
It becomes mechanical. Clear. Human.

You finally see the energy behind the behavior instead of the behavior itself.

Details will be sent with the link to join Align + Elevate! Or you can DM me!

📣 Official Announcement 📣

Last week took a turn I didn’t see coming!

Last spring/summer I launched Align and Elevate — a Human Design course for coaches, therapists, and wellness practitioners — and we wrapped the first cohort feeling so proud. What started as 18 planned lessons somehow turned into 44… because, of course it did. Once I got going, the depth just kept unfolding.

Align and Elevate was built to bridge Human Design with nervous system insight and deep pattern recognition, so you can guide people with more clarity, accuracy, and compassion.
It’s never been about becoming a “Human Design reader.”
It’s about seeing your clients more truthfully.

Then someone reached out last week asking to join. And that one message lit a fire under me. I moved everything to a new platform, redesigned the portal, and set it up so she could start right away… while I build the full 2.0 certification version!

So I made a decision.

Until December 31, I’m opening up the self-paced Align and Elevate (the full 1.0 version) for $549 😅 — the lowest this course will ever be again. Truly a steal.

And… When you join now, you get the entire 2.0 content for free when it drops, plus the option to upgrade into cohorts and certification.

You know how some people luck out getting in at the ground floor of something big without even trying. This is that moment.

💁🏼‍♀️ Before you go — I’m also giving you free access to Lesson 5, “The Lens,” from Module 1, so you can get a feel for what’s inside.

Comment “The Lens” if you want it.

Your work gets easier when you stop forcing clients into one method and start understanding how their energy actually operates. This is where Human Design becomes powerful. It reveals what’s happening underneath the mindset work, underneath the coping patterns, underneath the survival strategies.

Align and Elevate teaches you how to read a chart in a practical, grounded way, so you can support people based on how they’re built — not how the industry assumes they should be.

Sometimes I feel this pull to share something vulnerable with you. Something real. And most days I don’t… because I’ve learned the hard way that vulnerability isn’t always held with care.

My feed looks polished. My website is fire. But real life? It’s not always perfect aesthetics around here. (Like this tiny extra room in our tiny Tokyo apartment 🤣😭)

Sometimes I show up to sessions fresh off my bike. Sometimes I’ve just finished a nervous system reset so I can be fully present. Sometimes I’m high vibe. Sometimes I’m real AF and naming the hard thing you’re avoiding.

I’m not perfect. I’ve lived through and grown through a lot. And high performance doesn’t always look like money, jets, and a highlight reel. Sometimes high performance is choosing to show up better than yesterday. I work on my mental health every day so I can go further than I am right now.

Resilience is built in the discomfort. Not just through rewiring and affirmations, but through allowing the feelings, riding the emotional waves, learning your triggers, and choosing to respond instead of react. When you’ve lived through real trauma, that choice takes work.

Something a sports psychologist once told me: you don’t have to feel good to perform well. Athletes learn to be steady inside discomfort. And this applies to your anxiety, your patterns, your mental health. You don’t have to feel 100 percent to show up. You need awareness, capacity, and the willingness to stretch that capacity over time.

When you work with me, you’ll hit big goals. I’ll push you, I’ll regulate you, I’ll give you the permission you keep searching for. But the deeper gains often show up quietly. In the moment you speak up in a meeting without shaking. In the family gathering where you don’t collapse into your old role. In the way you suddenly realize… you’re different.

That’s the work.

So yes, sometimes I post things that feel vulnerable. Because I don’t want you to think you have to be perfect. I want you to see what it actually looks like to show up, even when it’s hard. To be present. To want to feel differently. To try. And to know that in this space, you’ll be fully accepted and supported while you do it.
