🎪🎈 Future Kindergarteners Had a Blast at Our Kindergarten Round-Up! 🎈🎪

What a fantastic day welcoming our newest students to the Detroit Premier Academy family! 💙💛

The excitement was contagious as Smiley the Clown stopped by to host a fun-filled dance party that had our future Kindergarteners laughing, moving, and celebrating their exciting journey ahead! 🤡🎶💃

While students were having fun, they also had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with our Kindergarten teachers. These personalized interactions helped us learn more about each child’s current skills and readiness for school. 📚✨

Families received valuable feedback and helpful tips on activities to practice over the summer, ensuring their child feels confident, prepared, and ready to shine on the first day of Kindergarten! 🌟

From dancing and smiles to learning and preparation, it was the perfect way to celebrate the bright future awaiting our newest scholars at Detroit Premier Academy.

Before we Kick off Summer Vacation we are Celebrating Our First Grade Spelling Bee Champions!

Our first graders recently showcased their hard work, confidence, and spelling skills during our First Grade Honors Spelling Bee! Students demonstrated outstanding preparation and determination as they competed in this exciting academic event.

Congratulations to all of our participants for their courage and commitment to learning. Events like the Spelling Bee help build confidence, strengthen literacy skills, and encourage a love of learning.

We are incredibly proud of our young scholars and look forward to celebrating many more academic accomplishments in the future!

📚✨ Detroit Premier Academy welcomed a very special guest author, Calvin D. Sims, author of The Backflip!

Our students had an amazing opportunity to hear firsthand about the importance of reading, learning, and believing in themselves. Mr. Sims inspired our scholars through his story and encouraged them to dream big and work hard toward their goals.

To make the day even more memorable, he signed books for students and gifted them copies to take home and enjoy. Seeing our scholars excited about reading and inspired to one day become authors themselves was truly incredible!
