The Legacy Development Foundation has created a workforce development program for high school students called “Building the Foundation”. This program is designed to raise awareness about opportunities available in the skilled trades industry while providing exposure and professional training that will enable them to partake in this vital labor sector. This will also afford students the tools needed to build a long-lasting career which will support them, their families and the future of Detroit.
