Today, we say goodbye to our three beloved Jesuit teachers -- Mr. Edwin Wesonga (math), Mr. Brennan Dour (social studies), and Mr. James Kamau (math). Former interim president Fr. Tom McClain SJ, left; stands with Wesonga, second from left, Dour, second from right; and Kamau, right.
All three have completed their regency training at Loyola High School on their paths to the priesthood.
Mr. Dour will be heading to Peru this summer, while Mr. Wesonga and Mr. Kamau will be returning to their province in East Africa (Kenya).
Each will begin a three-year phase of studying theology before finally being ordained priests in the Catholic Church. We wish them God's blessings on this next part of their preparation for ordination as priests and then continued ministry in Jesuit works. They will be sorely missed by students and fellow teachers and staff for their tremendous contributions to the school.
Best of luck, gentlemen!
