On Saturday, we hosted the students from University Preparatory Academy- Mark Murray Campus in Chemistry building. They had a chance to see how a chemistry lab looks like. Moreover, they had to learn that computers also do Chemistry😊. A very big thanks to our very energetic volunteers for making this happen. The kids promised to be part of WSU-Chemistry department in future and be among the top scientists.

What a weekend to inspire the young scientists. We engaged the students from University Preparatory Academy - Mark Murray Campus by introducing some very exciting home-based experiments and it was one of the best experience for them. A very big thanks to our NOBCChE-WSU Chapter members for making this a success again today. The teamwork here can’t be explained and we are yet to do more. Thanks to our partners including Department of Chemistry, Wayne State University and the office of diversity, equity and inclusion WSU medical school for supporting our initiatives.

We kicked off our tutoring and enrichment session today at University Preparatory Academy, Mark Murray Campus. Our members spent quality time with the kids and the level of excitements from their faces were priceless.
We are scheduled for more tutoring and experiment sessions with these students.
