Why Surgery?: Best combination of technical skills and teamwork. I love being able to medically manage patients while also being and interventionalist when needed.
Hobbies outside the hospital: Playing/watching sports (currently 1st place in the residents fantasy football league 💪) collecting Lego’s, going to watch musical theater

One word to describe intern year so far?: Thrilling

ACS Clinical Congress 2025 has officially come to a close! It was an excellent week in Chicago for our chiefs - filled with opportunities to learn and engage with colleagues.

Dr. Eliza Beal and Dr. Edmund Grady - both recognized as 2025 Initiates at the ACS Convocation Ceremony, and Dr. Anna Marie Ledgerwood, recipient of the Mary Edwards Walker Inspiring Women in Surgery Award.
