How far can FedVTR really take you?

While it is true that there is no cost to register to become a self-paced student and are given complete access to the training course catalog.

Certifications are industry-recognized validations of specific skills or experiences in a particular subject area. Employers often use certifications as a way to identify people with specific skill sets.

DHS and Hire our Heroes (HOH) teamed up to provide Veterans access to FedVTE (https://fedvte.usalearning.gov/lyout.php), a free, online cybersecurity training center. With 24/7 on-demand access to 60+ courses in varying levels of proficiency from beginner to advanced.

I would suggest exploring https://www.whizlabs.com/library/, There you will find training courses for CompTIA training and Industry-Exam preparation support.

Introducing the Shelter Employment Training Network, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at transforming homeless shelters into centers of empowerment and opportunity. Our innovative approach combines the provision of shelter with comprehensive cybersecurity profession training services, helping individuals experiencing homelessness gain the skills they need to secure sustainable employment.

By reorganizing the existing MVF (Michigan Veterans Foundation) into a platform that offers employment agency financial contracts, we create a win-win situation for all stakeholders involved. Employers benefit from accessing a pool of trained cybersecurity professionals, while individuals experiencing homelessness gain access to valuable training and employment opportunities.

Our unique model consists of three essential agreements:

1. The employer to agency agreement allows employers to collaborate with our network and recruit skilled candidates directly from our shelter community.

2. The employee to agency agreement ensures that individuals participating in our program have access to top-notch training, mentorship, and job placement services.

3. The Public Service to Agency agreement establishes a partnership between government entities or public service organizations and our network, creating additional revenue resources for sustained growth and support.

Not only does this initiative address the critical issue of homelessness, but it also tackles the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in today's digital landscape. By providing comprehensive training services and fostering partnerships with employers and public service organizations, we are not only changing lives but also contributing to the overall security of businesses and communities.

Join us on this transformative journey as we empower individuals experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives by becoming highly skilled professionals in the dynamic field of cybersecurity. Together, we can make a lasting impact on society while creating a more inclusive and secure future for all.

Introducing the Shelter Employment Training Network, an innovative solution to reorganize homeless shelters and empower individuals with valuable cybersecurity skills. Our program offers comprehensive training services to prepare individuals for high-demand professions in cybersecurity.

By transforming the traditional homeless shelter into a training hub, we provide a supportive environment where individuals can learn and develop their skills, ultimately leading to meaningful employment opportunities.

To ensure sustainability, the Shelter Employment Training Network utilizes unique 'employment agency financial contracts' that generate revenue for the program. These contracts include agreements between employers and the agency, as well as employees and the agency. Additionally, we establish partnerships with public service organizations to further support our mission.

Not only does our approach address homelessness by providing individuals with a pathway out of poverty, but it also fills the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in today's digital landscape. Join us in making a lasting impact on both individuals' lives and the security of businesses worldwide.
