It was an honor to be a guest on Robbie's Hope Hopefull Conversations to chat about my e-book and other strategies for parents of athletes! Thank you for the opportunity!
My guest today is Amy Bryant, author of Let Them Play and owner of Bryant College Coaching. Amy has spent over 20 years coaching in the NCAA. Amy is a mother of two student athletes and in her free time enjoys hiking and traveling.
Let Them Play offers practical advice for parenting athletes, emphasizing fun, balance, and personal growth over pressure and success. It guides parents to nurture holistic development through youth and high school sports, as well as the college recruitment process.
In the early years of youth sports, the focus should be on fun, exploration, and development. Let Them Play offers practical strategies for parents to help their children build confidence, develop a passion for sports, and navigate challenges like teamwork and competition.
As student-athletes enter their high school years, the dynamic changes, and so do the challenges. Let Them Play explores how to help teenagers balance the increasing demands of academics, athletics, and social pressures.

🎉 On August 9, Amy Bryant—founder of Bryant College Coaching—was inducted into the Georgia Tennis Hall of Fame.
During her 23-year tenure as head coach of Emory University Women’s Tennis, Bryant compiled a 428–116 record, guiding her teams to:
🏆 7 NCAA National Championships
🏅 6 NCAA singles titles & 5 NCAA doubles titles
🥇 18 UAA conference championships
🎓 103 All-Americans, 7 Academic All-Americans & 5 NCAA postgraduate scholars
As a player, she was a member of Emory’s first NCAA national championship team in 1996—and later made history as the first woman in NCAA history to win a national team title both as a player and as a coach.
Family, former players, and mentors were in attendance to celebrate Bryant’s remarkable career and witness her accept the honor. Since retiring from coaching in 2022, she has dedicated herself to working with student-athletes and their families through Bryant College Coaching, helping the next generation navigate the college recruitment process.
