MSU CMSD is proud to continue this incredible journey—yesterday, March 23, 2026, marked our second professional development session at Community Music School-Detroit .
We’re thrilled to be part of a powerful collaboration with Detroit Public Schools Community District, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, Motown Museum, Detroit Jazz Festival Foundation, Detroit Institute of Arts, Detroit Opera, and Wayne State University.
With the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts, this initiative will bring high-quality music education directly to Detroit Public School students—expanding access, nurturing creativity, and inspiring the next generation.
