Bringing Humanists Together for Collaborative Research All of the Center's talks and conferences are free and open to the public.

Wayne State's Humanities Center is an endowed, chartered institution that uses its funds to support and promote scholarship and creative work in the humanities, arts and humanistic social sciences. The Center achieves its goals by sponsoring and funding a variety of programs principally for Wayne's faculty and students. These programs include a Brown Bag colloquium series comprising over 60 talks
