• Metro Detroit Youth Club runs two different summer camps. Both camps are for ages 6-18. They are always looking for Spanish speaking teens to volunteer, and with a work permit, they could even get paid. They could also just hang out as members. The Royal Oak camp is quite a bit more developed and has more staff and programming available.
◦ DETROIT (free) at Durfee Innovation Society from 12pm-4pm June 15 - August 7 (dates subject to change)
◦ ROYAL OAK ($50/kid/week - but they have scholarships no questions asked if needed) at the Salter Community Center from 12pm-4pm June 8 - August 14

For the first time ever, a Western senior has been accepted to Princeton University and earned the highly competitive Gates Scholarship.
