These teams will compete on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Southeastern High School for the chance to be crowned Champions for the Fall 2024 season. The schedule of play is below and brackets are attached for reference.

The John R. King Academic and Performing Arts Academy Harvest Day Celebration was a great success. The parents really came out and support the kids and the kids had a great time celebrating positive behavior.

We are an incredibly large PreK-8th grade school with about 900 students and counting! Proudly, we have recently been designated a “Gifted & Talented” school, complementing our “Pathway” school for the Performing Arts status. Thanks to our amazing administration and staff, we are now a Grade “B” Rated School! 🎉

Parent-Teacher Conferences are tomorrow from 1-5 pm ⏰ Please plan to meet with your student’s teachers to discuss their progress for this school year 🏫 👨🏾‍🏫

Please make sure all students at at school every day on time! Breakfast starts at 7:05 and class begins at 7:30. Students who miss school are at risk for falling behind and failing their academics. EVERY DAY MATTERS! 🏫

Well the Mighty Titans have done it again!!!!

We continue to lead the way when it comes to K8 Athletics within DPSCD.

We now have our new scoreboard installed in our Big Gym!!!! We are one of the few if not the only K8 school with a new large high school size scoreboard.

Thanks to the DPSCD Athletics Department, Anika McEvans, Jay Alexander, Erick Bray and Mikyle Covington & Roy Steed, for continuing to support our efforts at JRK.
