Wishing all a Happy Holiday from Melody Piano Detroit! All students are now officially on holiday break. It's been an extremely hard year for many reasons, but we made-it! I cant express how very proud I am of my Students & Piano Families for their patience and endurance. I'm so glad we have all been able to stay safe in these trying times of the pandemic as we continue-on in our passion for . What a great feature story on Channel 4 on Friend and Colleague, Matthew Long- Owner of the Oxford School of Music!
As mentioned before, it's extremely important that during this time, we music educators continue-on with our students education... Aw, solid memories... Time-goes fast! This article came up in my news feed, reminded me of my WORK- reminded me of my Students WORK... Reminded me of why I'm a proud . Didn't realize it was 4 years ago I (Instructor Pleva) landed in ! From my students following me to the initial 'Gritty Russ', to Studio C in the Historical United Sound Systems Recording Studio, to that 'Downtown Sky Scraper' ;) To all around - Proud for sure-I-am 🙌✊🎼🎹!

WOW how time flies! What a great memory. This student is now 16 years old! This was the 4th annual recital that I had held.
