"I have concieved 4 children in my lifetime. Yet, I have only one living child. As a 40 year Lupus Survivor, I have lost 3 pregnancies to the health challenges that accompany the disease; those losses have each broken my heart and simultaneously made me a better woman-- a better mother. With each child, I wished them a great life, filled with happiness in the favor of the Lord. I began praying for each of them the very moment I knew they existed. I asked God for His grace and His mercy.

I continue to thank God for their existence, even for the babies I lost. Through heartbreak and tears, my children-- all of them-- have helped to shape me. They have given my life more meaning and they have taught me the importance of faith in humanity. Babies shape their Mamas. They are our greatest gifts and our greatest feats. We are as uniquely tied to them as our God is tied to us. In us, life is formed. Through us, life is nurtured and birthed. Only God's remarkable grace could create such an immeasurable force of nature. It is that same remarkable grace and mercy that allowed me to see beyond my own aching and realize that, even in my loss, I was yet blessed and highly favored."

Praying Mama is an Amazing Book! The author's book is delightful, uplifting, engaging along with the wisdom to understand we as MOTHER'S need to always pray over our children especially with how much turmoil is going on in today's society.
