Hello everyone! We are only a couple of more weeks from coming back to school! That means that our Volleyball season is fast approaching! Tryouts will be next week! Here's the info:
When: Aug 6-7, 2025
Where: *Cypress Creek Middle School
Time: 4-6:00pm
Please make sure to have the following completed prior to tryouts (asap) or you will not be able to tryout:
1. Get a current physical!! They will not accept the one you did last year or during the school year (unless it was at the Free Physical Day PHS hosted). PHS Athletics info can be found here:

2. Upload all of your forms/certificates to the Athletic Clearance Portal. THIS MUST BE DONE OR YOU WILL NOT BE CLEARED FOR TRYOUTS/PARTICIPATION! Create your account here:

3. Complete the 4 required courses via NFHS Learn (yes you have to do it every year and so do I). These courses are free here:

4. Pre-register for tryouts so we can have a good idea of how many players we'll have and if we have to set up 2 courts. Register here: https://forms.office.com/r/iMAZ2v2bcM or register using the QR code below!
5. Volleyball updates will be provided on this page but can also be found here: https://phs.pasco.k12.fl.us/vollyball/
6. Parents, as you already know, there is a new procedure for volunteering and it comes with a cost (for your background check). The team makes money off our concessions stand. We have a few home matches this year, but without our parents volunteering, we will not be able to open concessions. All of this info must be completed (for players) or they will not be permitted to tryout for the team!
7. We will be practicing at Cypress Creek until our gym is ready which hopefully means sometime this month! I do not have practice times yet.
