Ms. Fiscus Class 24/25

OMG! We are so lucky that we have a therapy dog coming to visit every week! This is Gunter and Ms. Sharon. Hooray!

Ms. Mander made snack sorting bags for science today. It was a delicious lesson.

We have a cool tool in our classroom called Boogie Board. We used them today in math groups to figure out math stories. ❤️

The book fair is coming! On Friday August 30, I will take the students down to preview the book fair. Students may shop Sept 3-6. You can send in cash or set up an e-wallet for students to shop on their own. The book fair will be open during Open House so you can shop as a family. Thank you!

I have a couple of upcoming dates for you to know about. More information will be coming about these events.

First, September 5 is Open House. I don’t have the times yet but I will send them home as soon as I do.

Second, November 20 is the Great American Teach In. If you or someone you know would like to come in and talk/show about your job, we would love it. If you don’t think kindergarten is the right grade but want to share with an older grade, we can arrange that. I promise the kids really like learning about the details of different jobs and the training/schooling it takes to have that job.

We have our first student who has finished a level on Lexia Core 5! Good job :)

Fridays are the best days…pizza for lunch and the playground for recess!

This year we are using a clip chart in each classroom of our school. Student can earn 0, 1, 2, or 3 points each day they are present. These points are based on behavior and what level your child has clipped to at the end of the day. This flyer has the details for the Quarter 1 reward party.
