🎨✨ REFLECTIONS IS COMING TO OUR SCHOOL! ✨🎨

We are so excited to introduce our students and families to National PTA’s Reflections Arts Program for the very first time!

This year’s theme is:

🌎 “What My Culture Means to Me” 🌎

Reflections gives students an opportunity to share their creativity and express what this theme means to them through the arts. No professional artist skills are needed! ❤️

Students can participate through:

🎨 Visual Arts
📸 Photography
✍️ Literature

Culture can mean so many different things. It might be a family tradition, a favorite food, music, language, celebration, story, place, or something special that makes your family unique.

We want to see what culture means to YOUR child! 🌎❤️

More information, including submission guidelines and deadlines, will be coming home in students’ folders this week. We can't wait to see the creativity, stories, and experiences our Cyclones share! 🌪️🎨

🌱🌻 Our School Garden is Growing! 🌻🌱

This weekend, our PTA volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work! 💪🌱 We spent the weekend building the start of our school garden, and we are SO excited to see it come to life!

Thanks to the incredible support from our families during last year’s Spring Fundraiser, we were able to purchase the materials needed to get this project started. 💚

The garden beds are officially in place and ready for our students to get their hands in the soil and start planting! 🥕🍅🌻

This garden will give our students an opportunity to learn, explore, and grow while connecting what they learn in the classroom to the world around them. We can't wait to watch these beds transform throughout the school year! 🌱✨

A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make this possible—from the families who supported our fundraiser to the volunteers who spent their weekend working in the Florida heat to make it happen, huge thank you The Gardens Nursery for your dirt donation! ☀️🧤

Whether you’re able to volunteer once in a while, help behind the scenes, share an idea, or simply become a member and show your support — **there is a place for you in our PTA!**

✨ **Joining PTA does NOT require you to volunteer.**
✨ **There is no expectation that members attend every meeting.**
✨ **You can be as involved as your schedule allows — even if that means simply being a member!**

🌱💚 Meet Greenie! 💚🌱

Our new clothing recycling bin is here, and Greenie is ready to help keep clothes and shoes out of local landfills ALL YEAR LONG! 👕👟♻️

Located in the main car loop, Greenie is collecting gently used, outgrown clothing, soft textiles, and shoes. Just tie your donations securely in kitchen-size garbage bags and place them inside the bin.

✨ And the best part? Funds raised through the bin go right back to our school through PTA programs, grants, and more!

Every bag makes a difference—for our school AND our planet. 💚🌎

Help us give Greenie a warm welcome

*Please remember bags have to be inside the bin, if the bin is full, please hold onto your items, the bin will be emptied weekly or as needed.
