James Irvin is a Pasco County school that supports both 6-12 and adult education experiences.

Our adult education offers programs for English language learners, GED preparation, early childcare apprenticeship, and cosmetology.

In order to aid with online registration for our 6-12 students, emergency card information will now be filled out in your myStudent parent account. The following video will assist your family with this process.

To assist our families this year, JIEC is opening an online registration process for our families for the 2020-2021 school year. Just go to our school website's registration page. There you will find registration paperwork to be filled out, links to online free and reduced lunch forms, links to assist with creating a parent account fo myStudent, and information on student shirts. After your family has completed these steps, simply call our office to set up an appointment to come in to the school to finalize your child's registration.

Our district transportation services has released the following information to help our families as we return to school next month.

12/01/2019

Registration for the Adult Education Spring Term 2020 (January – May) opens December 2nd, and classes for Spring Term 2020 begin on January 7 or 9, 2020 depending on your program. We have classes available in GED preparation, English language, cosmetology, and early childcare.

Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and may not be enrolled in any regular high school program.
The enrollment process can be completed at the James Irvin Education Center campus in our Adult Education office or on our website through the Apply Online button on the home page. For any questions regarding the enrollment process, please contact our Adult Education office at (352) 524-5738.

Our first Early Release Day for the year will be Wednesday, September 11th. Our student hours that day are 8:30 am until 12:50 pm. These hours apply to both our 6-12 students as well as our adult education students who attend classes on the JIEC campus.
