Huge congratulations to HHCA students Hayden Napier and Eli Taylor for being selected for Beaufort Memorial Hospitalโs Rising Star program!
Out of approximately 180 applicants, only 32 students were chosen through a competitive application process that included essays and interviews. Over two weeks this summer, Hayden and Eli had the opportunity to shadow healthcare professionals across a wide range of departments, including the Emergency Department, Labor & Delivery, Surgery, ICU, Infectious Diseases, and Patient Care.
This incredible experience gave them a firsthand look at careers in medicine while challenging them to learn in a real hospital setting. We are so proud of these outstanding students and canโt wait to see where their passion for healthcare takes them.
Congratulations, Hayden and Eli!

Every parent remembers that first big school decision.
For the Andrews family, it came in a season of uncertainty and led them to something more than they expected.

Collaboration Brings the Cave of Wonders to Life
Hilton Head Christian Academyโs spring production of Aladdin Jr. showcased more than student talent on stage and it highlighted an exciting cross-disciplinary collaboration behind the scenes. Mrs. McElroyโs Theater Design class partnered with Mrs. Inglisโs Engineering class to bring the iconic Cave of Wonders to life.
Combining creativity with technical skill, students worked together to design and construct the set piece from concept to completion. Theater students focused on visual storytelling and aesthetics, while engineering students applied problem-solving and structural design to ensure the set was both safe and functional. The result was a striking centerpiece that elevated the production and fully immersed audiences in the world of Agrabah.
This collaboration provided students with a unique, hands-on learning experience that bridged the arts and STEM, demonstrating the power of teamwork and innovation. Projects like this continue to enrich HHCAโs performing arts program while equipping students with real-world skills that extend far beyond the stage.

Great teachers never stop learning. ๐
Our Lower School team recently joined more than 3,000 educators from across the country for four days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration centered on research-based instructional practices for Kโ8 classrooms.
They left encouraged, challenged, and equipped with new ideas to better serve every student who walks through our doors. We're grateful for opportunities to grow because when educators continue learning, our students benefit most. ๐
