Today, we remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. 🇺🇸
We are grateful for the courage, service, and selflessness of those who gave everything for our country. May we honor their legacy with gratitude, faith, and a commitment to serve others well.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:13

For more than 30 years, one of the most meaningful traditions at HHCA has been our senior capstone trip to the Dominican Republic with our partners at SCORE International. 🇩🇴
This week, the Class of 2026 is serving in the sugar cane villages around Juan Dolio, working alongside schools and orphanages, investing in young children, and learning what it means to live out their faith through service.
Along the way, students are also building lifelong memories together, exploring the historic markets of Santo Domingo, enjoying the beauty of the beaches, and celebrating their final days together as a class.
We are grateful for the leadership of SCORE International and the opportunity for our seniors to grow in compassion, perspective, and community through this unforgettable experience.

Congratulations to Laura DuBose for submitting the winning design for HHCA in the Town of Bluffton Government Storm Drain Art Pilot Project! 💧🎨
Laura’s inspiring theme, “Never Litter. Love the May River,” helps raise awareness about protecting our waterways and keeping pollution out of the stormwater system. Her artwork, along with designs from other local schools, will soon be featured on storm drains throughout Bluffton’s Historic District as part of this meaningful environmental initiative. We are so proud of Laura for using her creativity to make a positive impact in our community! 💙
