Meet Sarah Chenoweth!

Today, we are proud to introduce Sarah Chenoweth, our second Assistant Teacher in the Bungalow Classroom!

Originally from Illinois, Sarah brings a warm heart and a true passion for working with toddlers. She joins the May River Montessori family alongside her sweet daughter, Sophia, who is now part of our Cottage Classroom.

We are so happy to welcome Sarah to our team and look forward to seeing the love, patience, and joy she brings to our little learners each day.

Meet Sapphire Joy!

Today, we are so excited to introduce Sapphire Joy, who made her way from beautiful Bellows Falls, Vermont, all the way to South Carolina!

While studying at the University of South Carolina, Sapphire completed her internship at May River Montessori, and it didn’t take long for us to realize that she was the perfect fit for our team. Her maturity, eagerness to learn, positive spirit, and natural ability to work collaboratively made her someone we knew we wanted to keep as part of our Montessori family.

We feel incredibly fortunate to now have Sapphire with us in the Bungalow Classroom, where she continues to bring kindness, dedication, and a genuine desire to grow and learn each day.

We are excited to introduce the new Lead Teacher of our Bungalow Classroom, Ms. Lauren Troxell!

Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Lauren is the proud mother of two sweet daughters who are also students at May River Montessori. Her experience working with children began at a young age while she was in middle school, spending her summers working at children’s summer camps. From those early experiences, she discovered her passion for education and continued to build on it throughout the years.

Ms. Lauren has participated in an English Immersion Program in Japan and furthered her education in Scotland, where she also had the opportunity to teach local children. These international experiences have enriched her perspective and strengthened her love for teaching and learning.

Today, we are honored to have her not only as a May River Montessori parent but also as the Lead Teacher of our Bungalow Classroom. Please join us in giving Ms. Lauren a warm welcome to her new role. We know she will be a wonderful addition to our team and an inspiration to our youngest learners.
