Brilliant!
MEASURING IS GOOD, BUT NOT THE END ALL
I started in the nonprofit sector almost 13 years ago after a 25+ year career in the governmental and business sectors. It was a challenging transition. Honored to have been a presenter at the Illinois Association of Free and Charitable Clinics' annual conference this week. Great spending time with Melissa Maguire, IAFCC's outstanding Executive Director, and Dr. Julie Darnell, IAFCC Board member and Conference Committee Chair, not to mention America's preeminent researcher on the free and charitable clinic sector.

Great to see one of our clients featured on the Megyn Kelly show. So proud we could be a part of helping Kassy form her nonprofit organization, develop her Board, obtain their 501c3 status, and get them off to a good start organizationally. Kassy is a force of nature, with a powerful message of love and community for these turbulent times.

Finally, some research data to prove what we've known for a good while. There is a negative correlation between low overhead and efficiency in the nonprofit sector. In other words, low overhead ratio (expenses for admin + fundraising compared to program services) is a good predictor of less efficiency and therefore less productivity.

Why charities should stop filing extensions for their Form 990
Around this time every year, an unfortunate ritual occurs in the nonprofit sector. Countless charities file Form 8868 to extend the time they may take
