My last job as a full-time employee. I was asked by a good manager to help out in a remote company in Lae Bulolo district with a Timber and Manufacturing company.
Without saying much, I gave my loyalty and service. A need was identified hence services was required, and me being asked was something special i.e. to bring up to par couple of keys areas with the Training and Development space and where necessary assist with the overall functions of HR. And so the journey began in 2020 during a period of COVID 19 pandemic.
One of my tasks was to bring an onboard group of apprentices that year. fast forward. It's now 2025, and they fully completed their program. It is a tough journey for each one. But patience, persistence, dedication, and staying focused certainly kept them going until completion..In mention one of the trades person sent me a message and I really felt humble and blessed.
