IBSU MADANG STUDENTS EXPRESS GRATITUDE TO MADANG GOVERNOR, RAMSEY PARIWA, AND THE MADANG PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT FOR CONTINUED SUPPORT THROUGH THE SIR PETER BARTER TERTIARY EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP.
We, the Madang Students attending the Institute of Business Studies University (IBSU), would like to sincerely acknowledge and thank the Governor, Hon. Ramsey Pariwa for his continuous support through the Sir Peter Barter Tertiary Education Scholarship Program.
We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the scholarship representative team for taking the time to visit the IBS University campus on 28th May, 2026, and presented the school fee payment Cheque to support us students to further our studies.
The Sir Peter Barter Tertiary Education Scholarship has become a tremendous source of financial assistance for many of us pursuing higher education. As students, we recognize and appreciate our Governor's commitment to ensuring that young students from Madang get school fee support from their government and have access to quality education and opportunities to build successful future.
Many students studying at Institute of Business Studies University (IBSU) came from rural communities and villages across Madang Province. Our parents and guardians are mostly self -employed who often face financial difficulties in meeting the high costs of tertiary education - because of these challenges, paying full tuition fees are often set heavy burden on our families.
The scholarship support provided by the Madang Provincial Government under the leadership of our good Governor has greatly eased this burden. It has enabled us students to continue our studies with confidence and focus more on our academic performance rather than worrying about school fees. The assistance has not only provided financial relief but also motivated us students to work harder and achieve our educational goals.
On behalf of all Madang Students attending IBS University, we express our sincerely acknowledge Governor, Ramsey Pariwa, the Madang Provincial Government, and the scholarship administration for your dedication and support.
The outstanding leadership you have shown and the vision in investing in education. We thankful for being recipients of the Sir Peter Barter Tertiary Education Scholarship and remain committed to making the most of this opportunity through academic excellence and reasonable leadership.

IBS UNIVERSITY MADANG STUDENTS ASSOCIATION SUCCESSFULLY HELD MEET & GREET AND EXECUTIVE NOMINATION.
The IBSU Madang Students Association proudly marked a significant milestone with the successfully hosting of its MEET & GREET Program on Wednesday, 18th March, 2026, bringing together new and continuing students from Madang Province.
The program was conducted in two parts. The part 1, is the introduction of the new-intakes, were students introduced themselves, their background, and aspirations, which creat a welcoming environment for everyone.
After the introduction, it was followed by nomination for the new executive body. It was very intresting to see students actively participated in nominating individuals they trusted to stand for them by taking leadership roles from outgoing executives to lead with purpose and integrity.
Due to the time constraints, the nomination process couldn't be completed on the same day. As a result, the nomination continued to next day, Thursday, 19th March, 2026, where all executive positions were finalized.
Beyond all the activities, this event reflected the inspiring journey of the association. When it was first established in 2024, there were only few students. Despite the limited numbers, the pioneer students remained determined, and never gave up on building the strong and united IBSU MSA community.
This year, 2026, the IBSU MSA has grown remarkably, whith a fully occupied classroom of proud Madang Students - this shows the clear sign of progress and success. This achievement stands as a testament for the hard work, resilience, and commitment of the pioneer students members.
Last but not least, the association extends it's deepest appreciation to all pioneer students who stood tall and worked tirelessly to lay the foundation that our current students and future students members will feel secured under the MSA house.
To the new members and newly appointed executives, this is your time to lead, contribute, and carry forward the values of corporation, participation, and unity.
βTogether we will build a stronger IBSU MSA Family today and the years to come.
