Tengei Christian Academy (TCA) is a Papua New Guinea-owned Seventh-day Adventist independent school that provides a co-educational system integrating both Australian and Papua New Guinea educational school curriculum. The school is located in Port Moresby, PNG.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a School Bus Driver. The School Bus Driver will be responsible for transporting students to and from school and school-related events. The School Bus Driver will also need to ensure the safety of students throughout transportation operations and maintain good customer service and effective communication with students and parents. And will also be required to do other work or tasks as directed by the management.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Truck/bus Driving and Defensive Driving skills - Class 6
- More than 5 years of driving experience
- Have general knowledge in motor vehicle mechanics
- Must be willing to carry out other tasks apart from driving
- Able to communicate effectively
- Must be a Seventh-day Adventist, or possess a strong Christian-
background.
- Non betel-nut chewer, smoker and of sober habits
- Good driving record
- Experience in school bus driving is preferred, but not essential
- High School certificate or equivalent
- Must be willing to carry out other tasks apart from driving
- Must reside within city-limits
- Healthy and fit

POSITION VACANCY (PART-TIME) - MOTOR VEHICLE MECHANIC

We are seeking a part-time MV Mechanic with the following attributes:
- More than 7 years of experience in MV repairs and maintenance, especially on Toyota Land-cruisers (specifically, type V8).
- Has sound knowledge and experience will engine overhauling and MV trouble-shooting and diagnosis.
- Must have own tools
- Current class 6 license
- Physically fit and punctual
- Resides within Port Moresby city limits

Role Description
The Lower Secondary Subject Teacher will work full-time and on-site at TCA's Vadavada campus, Taurama Road, Port Moresby, PNG. Responsibilities include planning and implementing lesson plans, assessing students' progress, collaborating with other teachers and staff, and providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for lower secondary students, for grade 9 and 10.

Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher
* Diploma in Education or related field
* Teacher certification by National Department of Education
Sound knowledge of Papua New Guinean educational systems and curricula and well-versed and informed of the new reforms of the education system in PNG.
* Able to work as a team
* Excellent classroom management
* Understanding of an inclusive learning environment, including students with diverse learning needs
* Ability to plan and implement effective lesson plans and assessments
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Competent computer skills
* Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development

Requirements
* Must be a baptised and active member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church
* Must have a minimum of 5 years experience teaching at the secondary level
* Has been actively teaching in the last 2 years
* Must be a non-betel nut chewer, non-smoker and non-alcoholic
* Able to meet deadlines as and when due
* Have good punctual and attendance
* Upholds high standards of Christian values
