Lakatoi Business College extends its sincere appreciation to Women & Girls in ICT PNG for delivering an inspiring and highly engaging session during the Digital Transformation Skills 2026 (DTS26) Expo ICT Clinics.
Our students were privileged to participate in the afternoon session where they gained valuable insights into the importance of digital skills, emerging career opportunities, website development, mobile application creation, online safety, and the importance of becoming lifelong learners in today's rapidly evolving digital world.
The session challenged and motivated our students to think beyond the classroom and recognize the vast opportunities available in the digital economy. As technology continues to reshape industries, initiatives like this play a vital role in preparing young Papua New Guineans to become future innovators, entrepreneurs, software developers, cybersecurity professionals, and digital leaders.
We also extend our gratitude to the PNG Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for organizing the Digital Transformation Skills 2026 and for providing educational institutions with opportunities to connect students with industry experts and digital transformation initiatives.
