Last week, we proudly launched Stage 1 of our new ITI Cafeteria in Badili, Port Moresby - a modern space designed to seat 25 people, now serving staff lunches and corporate dining.

This is more than just a new facility. It’s about creating a professional environment where our team can connect, recharge, and enjoy quality time during the workday.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁?
Stage 2 will introduce an outdoor cafeteria extension, expanding capacity and transforming the space into a vibrant venue for events and gatherings.

This launch marks the beginning of a much bigger vision. Over the coming year and beyond, the ITI Port Moresby Campus will see significant expansion and renovation, including:

* Expanded study areas for students
* New computer labs
* Additional tutorial rooms
* More upgrades to enhance the learning experience

We had the distinct honour of welcoming Julius Tuckayo, Manager Data and Digital at NASFUND PNG, for a compelling two hour guest presentation on Building a Retrieval Augmented Generation RAG Pipeline, one of the most in demand skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence today.

Students from our Information and Communication Technology programme across all ITI campuses attended online, gaining a valuable opportunity to learn firsthand from an industry expert actively contributing to Papua New Guinea digital transformation.

Mr Julius shared his personal journey, industry experience, and the latest trends shaping the technology landscape, reminding our students that the future belongs to those who prepare for it today.
