PDTI Turn Up the HEAT.

Congratulations Australian Volunteers International (AVI), PNG-APP, Queensland Rugby Football League Limited (QRFL), and Steamships teams on successfully completing the Hostile Environment Awareness Training (H.E.A.T) on Friday 14th July. 2023.

On behalf of the Staff and Management of PDTI, we want to thank their employers for giving us the opportunity to deliver this training to increase the security awareness of travelling safe especially driving in Port Moresby and other regions.

Thank you team Black Swan International (BSI) for the support and successfully delivering the HEAT training.

Congratulations to the Royal Papua Yacht Club Security Officers who recently completed their Certificate II in Security. We had great pleasure of conducting the training at RPYC. Great audience during the 3-day course. At the end of the course the Nine (9) Security Officers were certified and were presented their certificates.

Thank you to Emmanuel Banige Security Manager for RPYC for giving PDTI the opportunity to train and develop the hard-working Security Officers and also thanks to the Staff and Management of RPYC for the support during this course.

Congratulations to the team members from both the Justice Services and Stability for Development Program (JSS4D) and the Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) who completed our one-day Tactical & Secure Driving Course. The course consists of theory and practical sessions, including a PNG security induction, tactical driving and anti-carjacking modules. It is designed to increase the participants’ situational awareness and give them the skills and knowledge to deal with various scenarios. The course is being delivered as a collaboration between PDTI and Black Swan International.
