In this first episode, we hear from Ivosa Banduru, Coordinator of Library Services at Port Moresby International School (POMIS) sharing a short but powerful message of wisdom, inspiration, and encouragement for our students, staff, and wider IEA community.

An old post, but definitely one worth sharing again! 🏉✨

We love seeing our schools create memorable experiences for students through meaningful community connections. It was wonderful to see the PNG Chiefs Executives and their families visit the Koroboro International School's Koro Campus and spend time engaging with students and staff.

Moments like these inspire confidence, leadership, and big dreams in our young learners. Well done to the student leaders who proudly represented their school and showcased the spirit of the Koroboro community.

Thank you to the PNG Chiefs team and families for taking the time to connect with our students. We look forward to seeing more partnerships and inspiring visits like this in the future.

🎯 IEA Tip of the Week: Make Sleep a Priority! 😴

Let’s face it: a tired student in the classroom is like a smartphone on 1% battery—it’s hard to get much done! 🔋

At IEA, we know that rested minds are ready to learn. When children get the sleep they need, they show up to class with better focus, improved behavior, and a much happier outlook on their lessons.

How can parents help? It’s all about creating the right environment for rest:

⏰ Stick to a Schedule: Set a regular bedtime to help their internal clocks find a rhythm.

📱 Unplug to Unwind: Limit screen time (phones, tablets, TV) at least an hour before bed.

📖 Create a Routine: A quiet activity like reading a book together signals that it's time to sleep.

⏳ Check the Clock: Ensure they are getting the recommended 9–11 hours of rest each night.

Let’s work together to give our children the best start to their school day—one good night’s sleep at a time! 🌟
