MEET OUR INCREDIBLE YOUNG PEOPLE PARTICIPATING IN THE MODEL CITIZEN INTENSIVE!
Over the past few days, we’ve had the absolute pleasure of working with seven incredible young Papua New Guineans through our Model Citizen Intensive – Leadership & Runway Workshop, and what we are witnessing is nothing short of powerful.
Across the first two days, our students have gone through both theory and practical training—building their confidence, understanding the fundamentals of runway, and stepping into leadership mindsets. But this is just the beginning.
As we move into the next phase of the program, they will be fully immersed in real, live industry experience at Port Moresby Fashion Week (2–4 April 2026 at Vision City Mega Mall). This is where learning becomes real. They will go behind the scenes and onto the runway—experiencing firsthand how a major event is brought to life. From stage management, model management, and venue coordination, to backstage operations and runway presentation, our students are stepping into every part of the ecosystem.
This is what makes the Model Citizen program different.
It is not just theory.
It is not just practice.
It is a full, immersive experience where our young people are thrown into the deep end—in the best way possible—learning by doing, engaging, adapting, and growing in real time.
As part of this journey, each participant has shared their personal story, and we are so proud to begin sharing these with you. These are stories of identity, courage, growth, and potential—stories that reflect the future of our country.
