OVERVIEW
Highlands Christian Grammar School (HCGS) welcomes applications for a passionate educator to take up the role of Principal starting January 2022.
HCGS exists to equip learners for leadership through a Christ-centered international education. The campus is located in Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province, and seeks to provide an excellent education to a multicultural cohort, ranging from Foundation (elementary) through to grade 10. HCGS mission is to provide, in partnership with parents, a well-rounded educational program which is bible-based, Christ centered, academically excellent, culturally sensitive, and supportive of individual personalities, needs and gifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The major responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Providing leadership to ensure high standards of instructional service.
• Directing and managing instructional programs and supervising operations and personnel at campus level.
• Overseeing compliance with BUPNG and Department of Education policies, success of instructional
programs and operation of all the campus activities.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The applicant would be expected to possess the following qualities:
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in education administration and/or relevant qualification
• Have a minimum 3 – 5 years administration experience in an international school setting
• Have Curriculum development and implementation experience
• Be a strong and practicing Christian

What a successful program it is today! Congratulations, HCG staff for putting a meaningful and festive program to celebrate the 46th Independence Day of Papua New Guinea. Congratulations, to all HCG students for a job well-done in your respective presentations. Thank you parents and guests for celebrating with us. A special thanks to AROB Bamboo Band and Dancers (Mt. Hagen) for concluding the program with your music and dance performances.
