Congratulations Doris Wau (for MBBS Degree)

It would be wrong for EPA ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/edupacificagency ) not to congratulate and acknowledge the EPA's first ever graduate of MBBS in Dr. Doris Wau.

There is nothing much more better topic to talk about on this Special Somare Day than to acknowledge the dream Grand Chief Somare had when he who foresaw a young lady from Simbu attaining her MBBS degree from a University in the People's Republic of China.

Somare's dream to fellow PNGeans, "go ye unto the whole world and get thou a degree for thyself", and that dream is fulfilled in Doris Wau.

It has been a long and challenging journey for Wau but with shear determination and commitment with the undivided support of her loving parents, Doris has conquered the wall of MBBS and closes one chapter in her education career.

"We are proud of Doris' achievement which is an achievement that will serve the people of Papua New Guinea".

Dr. Doris is not new to the medical field as she grew up in an environment where her parents are treating patients and serving the people of PNG. She dreamed of following the footsteps of her parents and that dream is realized few months back.

With EPA, we dont just have Will and wait for the Way to Come by. We Bulldoze and Create the Way for those who have the Will on the inside of them!

We are tremendously happy and proud for our pioneer MBBS graduate in Doris Wau. We wish Doris all the best in her MBBS profession.

Study in China

The application for enrollment to study in China has now opened.

Submit your application containing the following requirements through email: [email protected] or whatsapp +8613121821911 or +675 73533330:

A. For Undergraduate (Bachelor Degree) Students

1. Application form (you can email and ask for the form;
2. Bio page of your passport;
3. First 3 to 11 pages of your passport
4. Gr.12 certificates with C grades or above for any other business/science/engineering course or B grades and above for MBBS studies.
5. Transcripts (Gr.11 & Gr.12)
6. Medical report (email to ask for standard form).
7. Police Clearance Report
8. Introductory Video (1 min video of self introduction.
9. Other documents like refs, upgraded marks etc.

Note: School fees ranging from as low as K6000 per year to K9,000 per year, excluding accommodation (K2500 per year and living expenses K300 a month) plus airfare (K2000 one way).

B. Pre-University Enrollment Cours (For Gr.10 school leavers).

If you have not completed your grade 12 or left school in Gr.11 or Gr.10, this is your opportunity. After one year of pre-university admission course, you can enroll in a University in China. Provide the following requirement:

1. Application form (you can email and ask for the form;
2. Bio page of your passport;
3. First 3 to 11 pages of your passport
4. Gr.10 or Gr.8 certificates.
5. Transcripts (Gr.8& Gr.10 report cards)
6. Medical report (email to ask for standard form).
7. Police Clearance Report
8. Introductory Video (1 min video of self introduction.
9. Other documents like refs, upgraded marks etc.

Note:
School fees for pre-uni admission course is K7,000 per year, excluding accommodation (K2500 per year and living expenses K300 a month) plus airfare (K2000 one way).

C. Post Graduates Studies

1. Application form (you can email and ask for the form;
2. Bio page of your passport;
3. First 3 to 11 pages of your passport
4. Notarized University Degree Certificates and transcripts.
5. A minimum of 800 words research plan.
6. Medical report (email to ask for standard form).
7. Police Clearance Report
8. Introductory Video (1 min video of self introduction).
9. An abstract of your bachelor degree graduation thesis, or design or model/simulations you did for your bachelor degree thesis.
9. Other documents like refs, upgraded marks etc.

Note: School fees ranging from as low as K15,000 per year to K25,000 per year, excluding accommodation (K2500 per year and living expenses K300 a month) plus airfare (K2000 one way).

Why study in China?:
1. Wherever you study in the world, though the culture, language and environment in that country may different, but the PRINCIPLE of learning any course/subject is same anywhere in the world. The efficiency of the delivery of course principle depends on innovation, research and teaching methods, and you cant beat China in these areas.

2. China is not only the factory of the world, but also advancing to become the source of innovation and technology in the world.

3. When you study Business or Engineering like Civil, you not only study in the classrooms, but you also see and learn on the streets how businesses are being conducted, how bridges and road are being built. You get a lot of exposures.

4. China has the economic power today and it will be China era in the next 2 to 3 decades. You will be privileged to have studied in China.

5. Don't tell me you can't get a job in PNG after graduating in China. Small brains will think like that. See this picture below! A living success story of someone who graduated in China and now working as Lab Analyst in a Mining Company in PNG. Many PNG students who graduated in China are now working in Mining/petroleum sectors, public sector etc. It's because of the job scarce that even the domestic and other international graduates still roam around the streets.

6. You will not regret being in China, I have lived there for 20 years, and China is the most peaceful and very convenient place to live in terms of housing, transportation and other basic services.

In all of these, we had three-point message:

1. At least one child in every family in PNG must be educated to Tertiary Education Level,

2. Get your PhD before you turn 40 or even 30 is better.

3. Looking for a job has now become a 3rd option. First option is to go for further studies, the higher your climb, the more and far places you see, lots of opportunities when you have higher degree. The second option is start something of your own and start employing people. If you can't, then look for a job but make sure to go back to 1st and 2nd options.
