Today, our primary students hosted a beautiful Motherโs Day Assembly to honor our wonderful guest mums, grandmas and caregivers.
Thank you to all the mothers who joined us and made the hall shine a little brighter. It was a wonderful celebration of the women who do it all!

A productive first meeting between our LTC President, Glenn Cabasug and Lae International School (LIS) Deputy Principal, Stephen Sowter, planning a community partnership to bring tennis to LIS as an after school program activity, targetting in Term 3 later this year, a fantastic opportunity for more kids to not only learn the basics of tennis, but develop basic hand and eye coordination skills through this wonderful racket sport ๐๐พ... Exciting times for Tennis as we grow the sport with Papua New Guinea Tennis Association, by reaching out and integrating tennis in sports programs across schools in Lae ๐พ๐

We are incredibly proud to celebrate the dedication and hard work of our LIS students: Ilya Savitski, Adalyn Uechtritz, Alisa Savitski, Georgie King, Evie Uechtritz, Patrick King, Emma Gima and Fiona Wei! Your sportsmanship continues to make the LIS community shine. Huge congratulations also go to the entire LASC team that traveled to Port Moresby for the 2026 Theodist National Swimming Championships! We are especially thrilled for our elite squad selectionsโNicholas, Ashton, Fiona, Ilya and Izaacโwith a massive shoutout to Nicholas and Ashton as they head to Fiji for the Oceania Championships next month.
