UPDATE: Awareness Underway at Bates Oval, Madang

Members of UNITECH's Momase Student Associations, led by the Madang Student Association preparing to speak to hundreds of residents who have turned up in numbers to listen.

We also have the Western Highlands, Simbu, Jiwaka and Engan Student Associations leading awareness campaigns in their respective provinces today.

Our student representatives continue into the second day of our awareness campaigns in respective provinces and towns, reaching out to more Papua New Guineans each day to educate them about ongoing national issues they may not have been hearing about.

For those who are aware of current national issues, our awareness campaign aims to gain your support in our fight. Join us, PNG! Power to the people!

We will continue to reach out to the rest of PNG, together with our sister universities.

UPDATE: Awareness underway at the National Park, Goroka Town

Members of UNITECH's Eastern Highlands Students Association, presenting at a rally hosted by the community this afternoon. People have appeared in numbers to listen to our students speak.

Our colleagues are also joined by representatives of UPNG's Eastern Highlands Association.

: Students left the Taraka campus in busloads yesterday (Tuesday) to travel up to the Highlands and Madang Provinces to reach out to Papua New Guineans through awareness.

As we continue into the fourth week of boycotting of classes, we are conducting a massive awareness campaign with students reaching out to different towns and villages within and around the Morobe province.

Keep our brothers and sisters in your prayers as they go out to educate our people about current national issues we have raised over the past month and the importance of choosing good leaders during elections.

The result of the Voting of the Referendum

Voting of the referendum is already underway.

The SRC Referendum will commence at 11:30 am at the Duncanson Hall front. Preparations have been made to set up polling booths.
