📢 OFFICIAL UPDATE | Inauguration of Smart Classrooms & Digital Learning Rollout

The International Training Institute-Lae Campus proudly marked a significant milestone with the successful inauguration of Smart Classrooms & Digital Learning Rollout on campus.

The event was officiated by our Chairman, Mr Sentheyval Senthil Kumaran, who officially launched the smart classroom facilities and distributed learning tablets to the first batch of Bachelor of Accounting & Finance students.

As part of the program, academic staff were also awarded certificates of attainment in Smart Teaching & Academic Collaboration using Microsoft 365 & Copilot, reinforcing ITI’s commitment to digital innovation in both teaching and learning.

This initiative demonstrates ITI’s ongoing efforts to integrate modern technology into education and prepare students for a digitally driven future. 💻

The program was attended by staff, students, and members of the media, making it a meaningful occasion for the entire institution.

📸 TB Awareness Session Successfully Conducted

We successfully hosted a TB Awareness Session at our campus in collaboration with Morobe Provincial Health Authority – District Health Team.

🦠 Tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious public health concern in Papua New Guinea.
This session helped raise awareness among students on:
✅ Early symptoms
✅ Prevention methods
✅ The importance of seeking treatment early

🎓 Interested Students and Staff gained practical knowledge on how TB spreads and how to protect themselves and others.

🤝 We thank the District Health Team for their valuable support and all students who participated actively.

Many people ignore early symptoms until it becomes dangerous — that’s the problem.

Morobe Provincial Health Authority – District Health Team will be conducting a TB Workplace Awareness Session for students on campus.

⚠️ TB doesn’t just affect one person
👉 It spreads to friends, classmates, and family
👉 It can disrupt your studies and daily life
