FIOFA is a new film academy, situated in Ohrid, Macedonia. It continues in the long tradition of the Prague Film and TV School (FAMU), the fifth oldest film school in the world. FAMU’s graduates include many influential filmmakers and scriptwriters, many known within international context as Oscar winners or laureates of international film festivals, e.g. Milos Forman, Emir Kusturica, Rajko Grlić,
Agniezska Holland and many others. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The three-year follow-up master´s degree program FILM, TELEVISION AND PHOTOGRAPHY is an intensive hands-on and theoretical preparation from the very beginning. For the 2016/2017 academic year FIOFA is offering : screenwriting, creative producing, directing, film photography & camera and post production : picture & sound. Each discipline follows a specific curriculum. The number of students will be intentionally low, while the profile of the offered specialization subjects guarantees a personalized approach to every single student. LANGUAGE
All lectures and workshops will be conducted in English, which facilitates the involvement of students and teachers from different countries. For applicants B2 level of English is required.
