From 14-19 July we had the most amazing and fulfilling time during the 5th European Pharmaceutical Summer Seminar. Starting with lectures and workshops in the mornings and finishing each day with themed parties, we can say the seminar was a complete success. We enjoyed some beach time, soaked in some sun during the golden sunsets, tried some traditional food from different countries and made countless memories.

Learning about the world of psychedelics within the realm of pharmaceutical research, with the help of our amazing professors and professionals, made us much more curious, open-minded and eager for exploration and research.

We hope that the information You've acquired and the connections you've forged will serve as stepping stones in your academic and professional careers. Remember that the progress of science is built upon the shoulders of individuals like Yourselves, who are willing to explore the unknown and challenge the boundaries of human understanding.

Thank you for your company, enthusiasm, and active participation. We hope to see You all again on our next events.🌿

We owe a big thank You to all the lecturers that took part during the seminar as well. Your dedication in sharing knowledge and genuine care for our growth have been a great example for each one of us, helping us to nurture our passion for science. We had plenty of lectures and interactive sessions, coupled with real-world examples, that have been immensely helpful in connecting theory with practical applications. This seminar would not have been as successful if it wasn’t for Your time spent.

We’d also like to thank our colleagues Catharina Knol and Paraskevi Papadopoulou from EPSA and Margarita Taneva from MPSA Факултетско студентско собрание на Фармацевтски факултет for preparing workshops and contributing to the success of the project. It was an honour collaborating with the European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association - EPSA and the Macedonian Pharmaceutical Students’ Association- MPSA in organizing this summer seminar. These kinds of events enhance the collaboration between the students providing better opportunities for the future.

Once again, thank you for your remarkable contributions and we are hoping to learn from You again in some of our next endeavors.🌿🌿🌿

Located only 6 km from the city of Ohrid, on the mountains Galičica, is where you will find the village of Velestovo. Having an altitude of around 1000m above sea level gives it a very picturesque view. Some of the fun activities you could do are hiking on the many marked tracks, exploring around the old houses where the villagers live, or simply letting nature take over your senses. Watching the sunset over the lake is just one of the experiences that will make your visit worthwhile.
The beautiful old building on the second picture is where the main events will take place. 🌿

In between the Ohrid and Prespa Lake is where the beautiful mountain Galichica is located, separating the two lakes. A part of it, together with the city of Ohrid and Ohrid Lake, constitute the National Park Galichica covering an area of 227 km2, which was placed under the protection of UNESCO. The highest peak Magaro (2,254 m) is just one of the amazing hikes you can do. The terrain is really rich when it comes to flora and fauna, with 11 plant and 26 animal endemic species that can only be found on this site. A particularly interesting fact is the number of butterflies, that has reached 1644 species on such a small area.
The Park offers visitors many different recreational and tourist attractions other than hiking, some of them being archaeological sites, churches, monasteries, cave churches, monuments, and for the adrenaline lovers- paragliding or mountain biking.🌿

The City of Ohrid and the Lake Ohrid are some of North Macedonia’s most precious jewels. Ohrid is notable for having had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as the 'Jerusalem’ (of the Balkans). The city is rich in picturesque houses and monuments, located in the southwestern part of Macedonia, on the north-eastern coast of the Ohrid Lake. According to many historians, Lychnidos - The City of Light (the ancient name of Ohrid) was built in the 4th century B.C., but humans have lived there for more than 8.000 years.
Ohrid is a true pearl, one of the most remarkably well preserved historic sites in entire Europe. It offers countless points of interest to tourists who want to travel to the Balkans and explore our country.
Nice hotels, traditional restaurants with divine food and wine, beautiful beaches, protected nature and eons of history and culture can be found here, less expensive and more intriguing than any other European top destination.

Lake Ohrid is between 2 and 3 million years old, which makes it the oldest lake on our continent and one of the oldest in the world. It has a surface of 358.2 km2, depth of 288 m and crystal clear water.
It is a home to over 200 species of plants and animals unique to the lake, including algae, turbellarian flatworms, snails, crustaceans and 17 endemic species of fish including two species of trout, as well as a rich birdlife.
There are lots of beautiful beaches where you can take part in different water sports and activites or just simply enjoy the sun.
