Many parents want to know how to help their children do well in Kindergarten.Star Education Center& Kindergarten brings together all the lessons and skills of your child’s journey in a program designed to best prepare them for success throughout their academic life by providing frequent opportunities to play, talk, experiment and wonder in a relaxed supportive environment. The learning process and

pace of study is set by the needs and abilities of the students in this classroom. Here are a few reasons Star Kindergarten might be a good fit for your child:
-Classes are taught by certified, degreed teachers
-Small classroom size and low student-to-teacher ratios mean more one-on-one attention
-Five full days per week with before- and after-care provided, plus nutritious meals and snacks
-Regular observation and developmental assessment of students to evaluate progress, plan learning, and inform families via comprehensive reports
-Formal family/teacher conferences held in November and May. We have four groups

Group I
We focus on:
-nurturing and care
-safety and security
-engaging environment
Your child will learn:
-listening and speaking skills
-self-confidence
-getting along with others
Group II
We focus on:
-fostering independence
-cooperation and communication skills
-hands-on learning
Your child will learn:
-pre-reading skills
-pre-writing, small muscle activities
-pre-math skills


Group III
We focus on:
-active learning
-attention and self-regulation
-speaking and listening
Your child will learn:
-self-help skills
-about making friends
-alphabet and number introduction

Group IV
We focus on:
-problem-solving
-responsive listening and using language to learn
-social and collaborative skills
Your child will learn:
-reading skills
-writing skills
-math skills
