Borris Community Playschool LTD We provide sessional care for Pre-school age children. We provide ECCE places for children in the community.

The Playschool began in 1999, when a group of parents got together, formed a committee and applied for a grand from the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform. While waiting the playschool operated on a voluntary basis, with donations of toys & equipment from the community. Grant was received for the purchase of equipment suitable for playschool use and for staffing. In 2014 we moved from

the Town Hall to a Respond building in Oak Tree Court, where we can provide more playschool and ECCE places for children in the community.

This week we have started with the Bia Blasta funding so have been providing all lunches for the children. They have enjoyed a variety of foods throughout the week such as wraps, lots of fruit & Veg, yoghurts etc. Our menus will be displayed weekly so you will be able to see what snacks are offered. The children have really enjoyed all the lunches so far and are excited to see what they get everyday.
