Our Parent & Toddler Ballet class is the perfect way to bond, laugh, and move together with your little dancer. Led by fully qualified teachers and tailor made for dancers ages 1.5-3 years, join our nurturing and fun introduction to ballet at Ballet Barn Carlow.
Every Monday from 1:45-2:15pm, you'll share precious moments, build confidence, and make lifelong memories together. Classes are just €12 each, pay as you go!

Another year of Dance awaits from Parent & Toddler and Adult classes

There will be no 7-8pm class this week or next. Everyone is welcome at our 8-9pm class instead!

Big thanks to our past pupil Roisin Whelan for delivering a brilliant contemporary workshop. The younger students loved getting the chance to ask questions and learn more about the industry, while the older group really enjoyed diving into the creative task. Great atmosphere in the room from start to finish, you left our dancers motivated, curious, and full of new energy!

We’re beyond excited to announce a very special homecoming: join us for a contemporary dance workshop with Roisín Whelan!

Roisín’s dance journey began right here in our studio and has since taken her onto the international stage as an acclaimed Irish choreographer, dancer, and director. After graduating with top honors from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Roisín’s career has soared—performing with Black Box Dance Company in Denmark and Matthew Bourne’s award-winning New Adventures in the UK. She’s brought her passion for movement to every corner of the dance world, from starring in full-length productions like “Romeo & Juliet” to teaching masterclasses for dancers of all ages.

She is the founder and artistic director of Róisín Whelan Dance (R.W.D.), a company that produces energetic, narrative-driven contemporary works for audiences of all ages and backgrounds. Her choreography spans the stage, screen, and community projects. Notable works include “Man Down”—her first full-length commissioned piece, created through significant Arts Council support and premiered at VISUAL Carlow and Backstage Theatre Longford—and “The Galaxy of Occupations,” a children’s work touring schools and libraries nationwide

Roisín has also made her mark in theatre and opera, contributing choreography for The Gate Theatre, the Irish National Opera, and major international festivals such as the Bregenz Festival in Austria and Glyndebourne in the UK. She has been an assistant movement director on major opera productions and collaborates frequently with leading European companies.
