🎓 LEAVING CERT RESULTS 2026 — YOU’VE GOT THIS! 💚

To all our Leaving Cert students — tomorrow is your day! Results will be released at 10am on Friday, 21 August 2026 through the State Examinations Commission Candidate Self Service Portal.

Whatever those results look like, remember this:

✨ Think positive.
✨ There are many routes and options available.
✨ One set of results does not define your future.
✨ Believe in yourself, persevere and keep going for what you want.

And most importantly — we are incredibly proud of you! ❤️

🧭 WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

1️⃣ Get your results
Access them through the Candidate Self Service Portal. Make sure you can log in before results morning.

2️⃣ Calculate your CAO points
Use the CAO points calculator to work out your points and then check the entry requirements for your courses. Don’t forget LC HL maths carries an extra 25 points for a grade of H6 or higher.

3️⃣ Check your options
Don’t panic if you don’t get the points you hoped for. Look at other courses, colleges, PLCs, apprenticeships, Further Education & Training and alternative routes. There are many ways to reach your destination.

4️⃣ CAO offers
Keep an eye on the key dates and offers process and take time to consider your options before making decisions.

5️⃣ Not happy with a result?
There are processes for viewing scripts and appealing results. Don’t make a rushed decision — get advice first. And don’t miss any deadlines!

What an incredible experience! 🪂👌🏻

Today I completed a 13,000ft tandem skydive with The Irish Parachute Club (Skydive IPC)—definitely one of the most exciting, nerve-racking and unforgettable things I’ve ever done! Massive thanks to my tandem instructor Rafael 🙏🏻

I didn’t do it just for the thrill. I took the leap to raise money for Youth Su***de Prevention Ireland through the County Carlow Skydive for Life 2026 campaign, supporting youth mental health and su***de prevention.

Every donation helps Youth Su***de Prevention Ireland continue providing vital support, education, training and programmes for young people, families and schools across Ireland. It’s a cause that truly matters, and one that can help save lives.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated, shared my fundraiser or wished me luck. Your kindness and generosity mean so much, and together we’re making a real difference.
