Taking that, seems to be going in the right direction, I’m just impatient lol. Just shows the things we know work, do. More steps, meal prep, water, protein…. Good luck to everyone smashing their goals this week 🥰


One of the things I LOVE about Pilates, is the immediate effect on your body. You literally feel better from the first class and that just gets better each week as you get stronger and more flexible. I would HIGHLY recommend giving it a go!

Have you ever noticed how a little movement can turn a bad day around?

Whether it's a stroll in the park or a few minutes of stretching, exercise has a way of lifting our spirits. So, why not take a moment today to move your body and give your mood a natural boost?


Honest post update. So today had my first weight gain since pledging to lose weight. Yet I’m still happy. Why? Because even though it’s disappointing, I know the weight gain is just hormonal and water and is just temporary.
I have done all the right things, steps, protein, water… (although my tacking could be better lol) so I know if I keep going then next week will see another loss.
Weight loss doesn’t just work in a straight line. Lots of different factors come into play. But when you get a gain due to hormones, it’s so easy to think ‘what’s the point’ and press the f**k it button and give up.
And when that happens it also reflects on next weeks scales. Whereas if you keep on track and see it for what it is, then you are much more likely to see a loss again on the scales next week 🥰

So keep stepping, keep moving, keep tracking, get that protein eaten and that water down you… Invest in you and you will see the results 🥰

Really pleased with that! Was worried about this week as with the bank holiday etc I had less classes and less exercise and also had one meal totally off plan. So to help damage limitation I did extra steps, drank more water and was more mindful of the food I ate the rest of the time :) Hard work pays off 🥰

LOVE seeing the progress made in Peak Spin! The one where it’s on the screen. But is as easy or hard as your own FTP score given. (So like a golf handicap. A beginner would have a lower score and do less power etc to be in their specific target training zone)
So this is one of my regulars and you can see the HUGE progress since January! More distance, more power, higher miles per hour.
It’s all about training in your personal specific targeted training zone.
And like weights, when you get used to it, you up the score a little and work a little harder until you feel you can do a lot more. Great progression. (Like weights)
Really LOVE this class and the results and progression you see.
Included in membership or people can do PAYG from just £5 a class. (Pre booking is essential as spaces are limited)

Thought this post was even more apt on International Women’s Day! This lady is amazing! This week she not only hit her 9 stone weight loss award at Slimming World, but she graduated her couch to 5k running course running over 5k non stop! All this since July! She plans her meals and tracks them all. She does spin classes, Pilates, running and weight training. Well done Julie! Hope you are celebrating this week, really inspiring 🥰🥰🥰

When I had this one I felt fat and not my best. I nearly cancelled and didn’t go. Then got some of my favourite images ever and a lovely confidence boost.
So I guess my message today is sometimes we avoid doing things that will actually make us feel better due to anxieties and then it becomes self fulfilling.
So that thing you’ve avoided doing because if anxiety, or any other reason. Get it booked and then pop in the comments what it is!

So so proud of this one! Julie was in Boxing yesterday and the gym are doing an around the World in 80 days challenge. She was surprised to find without realising that she was 51st out of 535 on the leaderboard. This spurred her to stay and do extra to get to 43rd place.
Today, she came in and did her BIGGEST RIDE EVER and did 50km! Taking her to 30th place out of 535!
Amazing achievement! AND in December when most people are hibernating 🥰💪🔥
Special mention to Fuse gym for the putting the challenge on and the latest equipment, friendly and knowledgeable staff and clean gym. Not to mention nice easy parking 🥰🔥 (If you are thinking of joining, they have off peak deals from just £20 per month…. Feel free to mention my name if you do join as they are running a competition for the most staff membership sign ups lol 🤪)
