Here’s our menu for the 2023 Summer Holiday Club. Please order via email or message Kelly 07971518408. If possible, please order lunches by 24th July. If you’ve already told us your child would like a lunch then you don’t need to again as we’ll already have a note of this. Children entitled to HAF funding have a lunch as standard.

Tickets still available for military wives choir concert next Saturday. We also have a raffle.

This is just a small snapshot of our summer plans….

Farm on wheels, football training with an FA coach, drumming workshop, Sports Day, RAF visit, crystal meditation and mental health awareness, themed cinema afternoon, bouncy castle, bush craft, sensory garden exploration, outdoor play, gardening, money matters training for children, dental health, play area, arts and crafts, stories, yoga.

We are so much more than just a holiday club.

The Animals

We have The Farm on Wheels joining us for one of our summer sessions. They’ll be bring a selection of their animals for the children to interact with.
So exciting!

The Animals The Farm on Wheels takes farm and pet animals to schools, nurseries, care homes, parties & events for curriculum based educational visits or just for fun.

Would anyone be able to donate a bottle of wine for our military wives raffle?

Good friend of the church and amazing photographer Emily, from Emily Morgan Photography , is going to be offering a cracking deal on family photos taken in these beautiful surroundings. Some if you may remember Emily from the St Andrew's Church Shifnal Christmas Fair. Please comment on her post if you would like more info. I can personally recommend Emily!

As a photographer, I can book an all day pass for the amazing Shropshire petal fields..
and I was thinking about doing it on Sunday 6th August.

I need to find out a little more details..
but I need to know if this is something that people would be interested in coming along and booking time slots with me to have a photoshoot there.

Today we have been working with (and learning from) the Hands at Work team to develop a lovely vegetable and herb garden. The produce we grow will be used for our Friday’s whats for lunch and our everyday welcome welcome.

Today we looked at a healthy recipe and talked about nutrition. We then set up our own shop where the children shopped for their ingredients. Every family will be leaving us today with a bagful of ingredients to make a family meal for 4.

We were lucky at holiday club today. We had a visit from PCSOs Steve and Sam. They told us all about being in the police and we got to sit in the police car. As part of our theme for the day, we talked about peace and what it means to be a peace maker.

We also had a visit from RAF Cosford representatives who told us all about their work.

Our Easter holiday club kicks off tomorrow. The staff will be working hard this evening setting up our space ready for lots of fun over the next two weeks.
We still have spaces available for the second week. 🐣

It’s a short half term between now and Easter (5 weeks to be precise) so it’s never too early to book in for our next Holiday Club. Lots of fun planned within our caring and nurturing environment.

Dear parents/ carers,

We are very pleased to tell you that once again we have decided not to increase our fees, which means that for the entirety of 2023, our holiday club charges will remain the same.

We are committed to the same high quality childcare, staffed by fully qualified and paediatric first aid trained teachers and childminders. We are acutely aware of the cost of living crisis that everyone is facing and we feel strongly that we should not pass the rise in our own costs onto parents.

We have also applied for the HAF scheme again this year, which runs for specific days during Easter, Summer and Christmas holidays, and will update eligible families about this in due course.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted but we’ve been busy behind the scenes planning a brilliant half term of fun all based around Superheroes (in lots of different contexts).
We still have a few spaces left on most days so contact us to book 📧 📣 We will be finalising the menu this week and will post it on our page.

Although our Winter HAF places have already been filled, there are still places available at other local providers for eligible families (eligibility is usually if your child is entitled to means tested free school meals). If you are entitled, your child’s school will have given you a code.

Any remaining availability would be for paid places only. We have now filled our allocation of funded places for pupils accessing means tested free school meals.

At the St. Andrew’s Church Christmas Fair this year we are super excited to have professional photographer, Emily Morgan Photography, coming along with her Christmas backdrop.

All prints will be digital, fully edited and emailed to you before Christmas. You can then have these reproduced yourself on canvases, prints, mugs etc for the perfect family Christmas presents.

These magical photographs of your little ones will be £12 each or 4 for £40- with a percentage of the takings going towards our ‘warm winter space scheme’.
