In nearly 10 years as a personal trainer I’m yet to find someone who is deficient in juice.
If you’re overweight, unfit, eat a s**t diet or all 3 combined… spending a week on juices is the equivalent of spitting on a house fire to put it out.
You’ll be spoon fed bulls**t like ‘reset’ & ‘kickstart’ like you’re a fu***ng moped with a flat battery.
‘Cleanse’, ‘detox’ (et al) are all bulls**t slogans to entice you to get a juicing machine.
Drinking juices for a week instead of changing habits is like putting a plaster on an axe wound and hoping for the best.
“But James I lost weight…”
You didn’t eat solid food for 7 days ya pleb, of course you lost weight.
Most people lose weight getting banged up in a foreign prison or doing a season in Ibiza, it doesn’t mean it’s good, it means you ate less.
IF LACK OF JUICE was a problem, then maybe it could be a solution… but it’s not.
Stop being enticed into quick fixes that distract you from the fact there’s work to be done.
‘The progress you often need is in the tasks you’re avoiding.’
Most of you, too many calories, not enough training, too many quick fixes, not enough long term small habits.
If you truly believe a carrot & ginger juice is going to solve all your problems you need to pull your head out your arse and face the harsh reality, there’s a lot more work to be done than popping a few veggies in a juicer.
Hope I made myself clear 😅
Telling you how I really feel since 2013
James

Just wanted to share information this evening. Weight loss doesn’t just have a straight downward trend throughout your fitness journey. The reality is it will fluctuate. 📉 Some weeks you’ll loss 2 pounds, another week you’ll gain a pound and the next week you could lose another 3, no matter how “good” you’ve been there will be factors that week we can’t necessarily pinpoint for the gain but the human body has a great way to correct itself. ✅ I tell so many clients to stick with it week on week cause your hard work will pay off! 6 months down the line your healthy diet and exercise plan will make you so much happier then having to start all over again and you won’t even remember that 1/2 pound gain! Don’t ruin it for yourself and stick with it. 👏🏼 Same goes for gaining weight/muscle, just in reverse! 💪🏼 Credit to for the picture.
