🌟Meet the Team Monday 🌟
This week we are shining the spotlight on our wonderful Pre-School Team!
Hi, I’m Debbie, I’m the Pre-School leader. I’ve worked for Humpties for 5 years now. We are a fun, confident and loving team and all support the children, their families aswell as one another. I love to engage with the children and create activities and opportunities to grow, helping the children to gain new and extend past experiences through play within their day. I enjoy being part of the children’s final journey before heading to school and seeing them all graduate is one of the highlights I love to be part of.
Hi, I'm Becci! I've been part of the Humpty family for 5 years and I'm a qualified Early Years Teacher in our Preschool room. My favourite part of my job is creating core memories with the children while watching them grow in confidence and develop new skills. I love helping to build the foundations of their education and supporting each child to reach their full potential.
I bring lots of creativity into the classroom and enjoy planning fun, engaging experiences that encourage children to learn through play every day. I am the lead for the MyHappymind program which is an NHS-backed, science-based mental health and resilience curriculum for UK schools, nurseries, and families.
Hi my name is Skye. I absolutely love working in childcare and feel so lucky to be part of the Pre-School room at Humpties. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of watching children learn, grow, and build their confidence every day. Every day brings new smiles, laughter, and milestones, which is what makes my job so special.
My name is Rachel, and I am an Early Years Practitioner. I have been part of the Humpty’s team for one and a half years. I began my journey in the Panda Room, where I loved working with the younger children. I now work in the Pre-School, which suits me perfectly. This age group is full of curiosity and energy, and it is wonderful to see their learning, independence, and confidence really begin to flourish. Before joining Humpty’s, I spent over ten years working across a variety of educational settings, including primary, secondary, and special needs schools. As a Teaching Assistant, I specialised in supporting children with additional needs—whether physical, cognitive, social, or emotional—helping them access the curriculum and feel fully included within the school community. I firmly believe that every child matters, and I am passionate about helping each child thrive and develop a genuine love of learning. One of my favourite parts of the day is spending time outdoors with the children, whether we are exploring at Forest School or enjoying the fantastic Pre-School garden. I love getting them involved in group games such as hide and seek, “the floor is lava,” or going on a bear hunt, and seeing them laugh and play together. And of course, I cherish the moments of comfort and connection—cuddles are always welcome.
Hi, I’m Alison, and I’ve been part of the Humpties team for nearly seven years. Working in Pre-School is incredibly rewarding because no two days are ever the same. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is watching the children grow in confidence and develop throughout the year, especially after Christmas when their personalities really begin to shine. I’m passionate about building strong relationships with both the children and their families, supporting them every step of the way on their learning journey. Some of my favourite aspects of Pre-School life include PE, messy play, outdoor activities, and, of course, graduation celebrations. Seeing the children proudly reach this milestone and prepare for their next exciting adventure is truly special.
Hi I'm Claire and I've worked at Humpties for 12 months. I am an Early Years Assistant in Pre-School. I have 3 grown up children of my own and love working with children, watching them grow in confidence and forming relationships with them. I bring patience and care to my role and relish getting to know the children and having lots of fun and learning with them!
