Mock Test 😳😊
Many pupils are struggling financially to pay for some 40 plus hours or even more of lessons. Others have been driving for some time. Whatever the reasons, many often just need some professional guidance to know what they need to improve in in order to be test ready.

Are you one of those pupils? If so, please give me a phone call to arrange a mock driving test. My mock tests mimic exactly how your driving test will be on the actual day. Official driving test reports are given at the end of the test; feedback in detail on areas where you need to improve in in order to get closer to the standard expected of you by the DVLA.

I take you on official driving test routes (Lichfield area only) lasting approximately 42 minutes, not including feedback.

The one to one feedback will enable you to brush up on your driving skills, ask questions on areas of your driving you may need help in and much more.

Do I really need Antifreeze?

Your vehicle needs anti-freeze throughout the year, not just during the winter. It helps to protect your engine from corrosion, aids heat transfer and prevents rust & scales from building up. In hot temperatures it prevents your engine from overheating by raising the boiling point of the water in the cooling system. This vital liquid helps your engine in other ways too. It prevents scale building up and protects against corrosion, helping to keep your car healthy.

How to de-ice your car (legally and safely)

Thoroughly clearing the windscreen of ice is not the work of a moment.

It could take around 10 minutes, not least because you'll also need to de-ice the side windows, mirrors and lights too. Don’t be tempted to just clear the ice enough to see ahead. Remember blind spots?

Using a dedicated ice-scraper and de-icer will speed things up.

Don't wait until the first frost before discovering you have run out of de-icer: plan ahead.

Sq**rt the de-icer over the windscreen, before clearing the ice with a scraper.

It’s also worth lifting up your wipers by hand to check they are not frozen to the windscreen.

If they are, switching them on could potentially burn out the motor – again, an expensive fix. It could also tear the wiper blades.

If you do not have any de-icer, there are other common household solutions you can use instead.Remember, if you’re heading out for the day, be sure to keep a spare de-icer and scraper in the car.

Temperatures can quickly drop in the evening, meaning you might need to repeat the process before leaving work.

What are the effects of drugs on driving?
Many drugs have an effect on driving. Some, such as alcohol and cannabis, can slow reaction times, reduce the ability to concentrate and distort the judgement of time and distance. Others, such as co***ne, may lead to people taking more risks. Prescription drugs too can affect our ability to drive. Avoid!!!👍 Stay safe. Protect yourself and those around you.

Young drivers are at a much higher risk of crashing than older drivers and the combination of youth and inexperience can prove a fatal combination on the roads. The answer? Don’t rush to pass your test by taking shortcuts - having as few driving lessons as possible from a qualified ADI. Yes, it costs but once you pass your driving test that full license is yours for life!! Take time to learn the MSM MSPSL procedure and be consistent in its use. Stay safe. Life is very precious.😊😊
