Vitalise Riding Centre

Well what a great time we have had at our first Adult Camp 🙌

Day 2 consisted of a jumping lesson in the morning and a hack out around the farm and fields, we also discussed buying or loaning our first horse and the potential costs involved

Day 3 despite the awful weather we made the most of it, this morning we talked about worming and the ladies collected the poo samples and bagged them up ready to post ✉️

We then had flatwork lessons in the lovely, dry indoor followed by learning how to long rein, once again, in the dry

Lots of cups of tea ☕️ and cake 🍰 consumed by us all, in the dry heated kitchen, and friendships made, the ladies were just wonderful and threw themselves in to everything!

All in all a fabulous 3 days. Look out for our Autumn 🍂 adult camp!

Today was our first day of Adult Camp 🙌

The riders started off with a cup of tea and then had their private sessions on the flat with our coach Kay

We then did stable management and learnt how to groom and tack up properly and dipped a toe in to the huge topic of feeding!

This afternoon was a 1 hour polework session working on, releasing the horses stiffer side, straightness and the horses proprioception

Horses brushed off, turned out, tack wiped over and put away and a ☕️ and cake 🍰 before heading home before more fun tomorrow 🐎

We will sleep 😴 well tonight!

Today was Pony Club 🙌🦄

Today our riders learnt how to plait and turn themselves out ready for the Howden Centre Equitation competition, these two Pony Club badges will be worked towards and awarded as part of the competition ☺️

They then had an hours ridden session learning their canter transitions on a circle

Our Saturday Loan Club started to practice their jumping, ready for the competition 🐎

We are looking for volunteers to help out in the riding school

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays

This is a great way to learn about grooming, tacking up, leading ponies and getting experience being around ponies and horses.

In return we will offer you a £5 ecpro voucher to spend on lessons of you already ride with us
