Daffodil Story Detectives!
The Daffodils have been busy creating their own story maps for their story of the week!
Using their fantastic listening and thinking skills, they identified the character, setting, problem, and solution from the story. The children worked hard to discuss their ideas and organise the key parts of the story onto their maps.
Story mapping helps children develop their understanding of how stories are structured and supports their comprehension and storytelling skills.

he Daisies have been busy practicing their pencil control by carefully tracing over their own names!
Not only that, but they also demonstrated fantastic name recognition skills by successfully identifying their own names. Seeing their confidence grow as they recognised and traced their names was wonderful!
Learning to recognise and write their names is an important early step in developing literacy skills, and the Daisies should be very proud of themselves.
Well done, Daisies! Keep up the amazing work!
