There’s nothing quite like the buzz of being backstage before a show! ✨💃🕺

The excitement, the nerves, the anticipation… costumes on, makeup being perfected, helping each other get show ready, warming up together and squeezing in that all important dress rehearsal before it’s time to step onto the stage! 🎭✨

And one of the best parts? Seeing all the other dance schools, their incredible performances, amazing costumes and talent, and watching everyone cheer each other on. There is such a wonderful sense of community, support and excitement backstage. 🥰👏

Then, when the final routine is finished and the curtain comes down, there’s that amazing feeling of “WE DID IT!” ❤️ The pride, the memories, the smiles and knowing just how lucky we are to have these incredible opportunities to perform, grow and share our love of dance.

We absolutely LOVE seeing our dancers thrive in these moments, and we can’t wait for our upcoming routines with Chance to Dance this year! 🌟

What a fabulous way we finished our classes before breaking up for the summer holidays! 🤡🎠🎪

A little look back at our Circus Week as we prepared for our spectacular “Enter The Circus” showcase! From the costumes and characters to the smiles, sparkle and circus chaos… you ALL looked absolutely fabulous! 🎪✨

I honestly couldn’t be more grateful for every single one of you and for all the effort, energy, creativity and enthusiasm you put into making the showcase so incredibly special. ❤️ Your hard work truly paid off, and what a show it was! 🌟

Now the big question is… how on earth am I going to top THAT next year?! 🤔🎪😂 The circus tent is officially pitched VERY high! 🎩✨

Last week was SO much fun at Summer School! ☀️🎨🎉 From games and activities to lots of laughter and happy memories, we’ve had an amazing time! 💕

We had the most fin-tastic time celebrating a very special mermaid-themed birthday at SDA! 🐚💜🫧

From magical mermaid games and a sparkling disco 💃🪩, to bouncing, flipping and tumbling on the tumble track 🤸‍♀️, our birthday girls and their friends had SO much fun! We even added a little extra sparkle with festival glitter ✨🌈 and enjoyed some yummy treats 🍭🧁

We hope our birthday girls and all their lovely friends had an absolutely mermazing time celebrating! 💕🧜‍♀️🪸

🎬✨ SUMMER SCHOOL – SPECIAL CONTENT DAY! ✨🎬

Hi everyone! 💜

I just wanted to let you know that next Thursday 20th August, we’ll have a Social Media Content Creator joining us at Summer School to capture some fabulous photos and videos of the children enjoying their day! 📸🎥

I would LOVE to get as many of our students there as possible so we can create some amazing content to help promote our Summer School and hopefully boost numbers for future days! Your support really does mean so much to me, and it would be fantastic to have a big group of our SDA family involved. 💜

And let’s be honest… the kids absolutely LOVE being in front of the camera! 😂📸 I’m pretty sure some of them think they’re already famous! ⭐🤣

There will be lots of fun throughout the day, including gymnastics, acro, dance, games, arts & crafts and plenty more! 🩰🤸‍♀️🎨
